DATA POLICY

What Monvilo knows
about your channel.

Point by point: what stays in your browser, and what goes to YouTube Studio, the Monvilo server and an AI provider. No vague wording, no fine print.

Version of · Monvilo 2.26

Where your data lives

Almost everything is kept in the extension, inside your browser. Only what a feature cannot work without goes anywhere else.

DataWhereDetails
Video audio and pause findingBrowserNever stored: the analysis runs in browser memory and ends there.
Video subtitlesBrowserAI serviceUsed for pause context. With a Monvilo key, snippets around slots go through the Monvilo server to an AI service for the semantic check and are not stored.
Revenue, RPM, views, retentionBrowserCollected from Studio and kept in the extension. Paid dashboard blocks are computed by the server: without titles, without storage.
Slot history and snapshots before changesBrowserFor one-click restore. Never sent anywhere.
Ad break timestampsYouTube StudioSaved to your video through the Studio interface, just as if you placed them yourself.
Monvilo key and plan channelsBrowserMonvilo serverThe server keeps a fingerprint of the key plus the IDs and titles of linked channels.
Pause features and YouTube feedbackMonvilo serverWith a Monvilo key: numbers about pauses, loudness and speech in the second before and after the slot, YouTube’s verdict per slot and the run summary. Video and channel IDs are replaced with a code they cannot be recovered from. Turned off with the “Use channel feedback history” switch.
AI questions in the dashboardMonvilo serverAI serviceYour question and aggregated channel figures. The Monvilo server passes them to an AI service and keeps only a request counter for the plan limit.
Niche RPMMonvilo serverOnly if you turned sharing on in the dashboard. One row per settled month: niche, language, top country, format, size and RPM in dollars. No channel ID, titles or revenue amounts.

What the Monvilo server receives

When you enter a Monvilo key. Each item comes with its reason and how long it is kept.

Key and plan

A fingerprint of the key (HMAC with a server secret), not the key itself. Your email if the key was issued to it.

Why
Check your plan and its term.
Kept
While the key is active

Channels

The ID and title of each channel linked to the key. The server checks that a video is yours using public YouTube data.

Why
Plan channel limit and protection against key sharing.
Kept
While the channel is linked

Video count

IDs of videos where smart placement ran, with the date.

Why
Video limit of your plan or promo key.
Kept
While the key is active

Slot selection and pause model

Numbers about pauses: length, loudness, speech before and after, position in the video, plus loudness and speech in the second before and after the slot — 21 points, 0.1 s apart. YouTube’s verdict for each checked slot: interrupts or not, and in which selection round it was checked. The run summary: how many slots YouTube checked and flagged, how many were kept against the plan, rounds and minutes. Video and channel IDs are replaced with an HMAC code; no audio, subtitles or titles. The server returns your channel’s numbers only to your key.

Why
Choose slots, restore your channel history after a reinstall, train a shared pause model on YouTube’s feedback and check whether a new version errs less often. To turn it off, use “Use channel feedback history” in settings: the numbers stop being sent and selection works as before.
Kept
Labels: kept for the model. Run summaries: one year, last 10 per video

Paid dashboard blocks

Studio numbers per video and day: revenue, views, RPM, retention. Titles are removed and IDs replaced with numbers before anything leaves the browser.

Why
Compute causes, seasonality, forecasts and the media kit with a Pro key.
Kept
Not stored, not logged

Device

A random ID of the extension install and its version. The IP address is not written to the database.

Why
Show the number of devices per key and warn about outdated versions.
Kept
While the key is active

Niche RPM — opt-in

If you turned on “Share anonymized RPM” in the dashboard: after the 15th, one row per settled month. Niche, language, top country, format, size by monthly views and RPM in dollars. In the database the row is not linked to the channel: a random ID, no write time. Separately, only an HMAC code meaning “this channel already sent this month” is kept.

Why
Show you the niche median once it has 20 channels. For the Monvilo owner: average RPM by niche, language and country; slices under 5 channels are hidden.
Kept
Rows: up to 3 years

Monvilo AI

For the semantic check: the video title, timestamps, slot characteristics and subtitle snippets around pauses. For dashboard summaries and questions: aggregated figures and your question. The server passes them to the RouterAI AI service for the answer.

Why
Rate whether phrases are complete, answer your question, count the plan limit.
Kept
Texts and answers are not stored. A counter remains: request type, HMAC video code, size and cost

The server never receives

  • Video audio
  • Full subtitles and video descriptions
  • Passwords, cookies and Google sign-in: only you enter them in Studio
  • Viewer data and comments
  • Your email or channel ID in AI requests

Monvilo AI

Placement, YouTube checks and the dashboard work without AI too. With a Monvilo key, semantic checks and dashboard questions go through the Monvilo server to the RouterAI AI service. Monvilo pays for the requests; you need no AI key of your own.

Retention and deletion

  1. Data in your browserDeleted with the extension. Removing it in chrome://extensions erases history, snapshots, revenue and settings.
  2. Unlink a channelIn the extension’s Plans tab, once every 30 days. The channel and its counts are detached from the key.
  3. Delete everything on the serverMessage @Monvilo on Telegram with your key or channel ID. We delete the key, channels, video counts, and your channel’s pause features and run summaries.
  4. Niche RPMSharing turns off with one switch in the dashboard, and no new months are sent. Rows already sent are not linked to the channel, so they cannot be found and deleted on request; they are deleted automatically after 3 years.
  5. BackupsThe server database is backed up daily; copies are kept for 30 days and then deleted.

Monvilo does not sell data or use it for advertising. If anything on this list changes, the new version appears here and in the changelog before the release ships. Changelog
